DEODORIZING YOUR CARPETS

Spring-cleaning began early for me this year and I must say, the most satisfying feeling is finishing tireless work on the home with freshly cleaned floors! I went through my house, vacuuming and cleaning my carpets but I realized that there was still one important step to finish the job – deodorizing. Unfortunately, dirt and odors are very attracted to carpeted floors so occasional deodorizing is very helpful!

TREATING UNSIGHTLY DANDRUFF

The hot/cold temperature extremes that we find ourselves in as winter transitions to spring can have an affect on one’s scalp, causing embarrassing dandruff. TO PRUNE OR NOT TO PRUNE

Pruning plants intimidates gardeners. It shouldn't. Pruning is one of the best things you can do for the plants in your garden and landscape. When you can’t wait to get started in the spring garden, a good task to undertake is pruning. Most trees and shrubs benefit from annual pruning. It keeps them in shape, gets rid of dead and diseased wood and encourages new growth. But not all trees and shrubs should be pruned early, especially some of the flowering ones. It is important to prune correctly so that the cut will allow for quick healing and promote vigorous growth from the closest bud to the cut.
